Is this just me? Or is this year flying by.
And since it’s senior year, I don’t know how to feel about it.
High school is coming to a close. The most familiar part of my life is about to disappear.
And I don’t think I’m that upset about it.
Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many. -Unknown
I find this so relevant in everyday life. I am beyond fortunate to have all the opportunities I do.
Your life as only as good as you believe it to be. Each day I do my best to appreciate what I have, work towards what I do not, and fulfill every aspect the best I can.
It can be tiring, but no matter what I look back on, I will know I always gave my best. And that’s all anyone could ask for.
I have gotten better at applying this mindset to the things I buy.
I truly believe that your life is your art, it is your own creation, and the things you do and say help create this image that you are constantly painting for yourself. And you can make it anything you want to be!
I want my painting to be one of good nature, wholesomeness, vibrance, and love of life.
So, each month, I work to reflect these values in the items I choose to spend my money on. I am trying to eliminate as much waste in my life as possible!
BlueSky Maxwell Gold Planner ($14.99) – I got this wonderful new planner at my true love: Target. My last planner was from BlueSky as well and I love them! The difference between the 2 is that this new one has hourly spots, instead of just a blank box for each day. I want to try more structure in my planner, and it will allow me to create more concrete to-do lists each day!
Nourish Organic Stick Deodorant in Lavender Mint ($9.99): Another focus of mine is to incorporate sustainability into the products I buy so that I’m reducing my carbon footprint as much as possible. I also like to put the most natural things into my body as I can. With these ideals combined, I decided to try this organic deodorant as an alternative to chemical filled traditional deodorants. I’m hoping it will be able to compete with my tried-and-true CertainDri.
RedBubble Stickers ($2.50) – So if you follow my Instagram then you probably know I recently bought a ton of lovely stickers off RedBubble and I’m obsessed. Stickers are such a fun way to express the various pieces of your personality in a subtle way that you can display everywhere you go. Plus, I love being able to support independent artists and the amazing work that they create.
I have highlights of science, social justice, summer vibes, and of course, Parks & Rec, Harry Potter and ice cream. All of my loves in one. (Besides pizza)
March treated me well, and I hope it did to you as well.
I’ll be spending April impatiently waiting for the sun up here in the North.
Sending you some sunshine for the next month!
