I love fall.
I live for comfy sweaters, warm drinks, and walks in the woods.
But those are only a few things I enjoy during fall. This post is filled with things that help make fall my favorite season.
Autumn is my favorite season for clothes. I love the variety of colors that fall brings about. From the red, yellow, and oranges of the leaves and food to the maroon, navy and army green of my favorite clothing pieces.
I’m always cold, so warmth is a big factor for me. And comfort. Definitely.
I’ve always been an admirer of fashion bloggers. I don’t have the will or the talent to put on a gorgeous outfit everyday. If you are big into fashion, know I think that’s so cool.
I definitely take away from the tips fashion bloggers may post while keeping with my own style of comfy, warm, and basic. (Don’t laugh at me lol)
So, as a non-fashion person, there are just some clothing items I can’t get through fall without.
Unfortunately, no one was around to help me take a picture! lol
- Sweater – Forever 21
- Boots – Merona
- Jeans – American Eagle
- Scarf – Forever 21
Other clothes I love
Boots: these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. So warm, so cute, and so fall. Not usually my style but I fell in love with them as soon as I put them on!
Slippers: I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of slippers, and I finally came across these! They’re so comfortable, have the most adorable winter pattern, and have a solid sole so you can wear them around the house without slipping.
On the cool afternoons of cleaning and tea drinking I like to be surrounded by calming music.
I have a whole Spotify playlist dedicated to my favorite fall sounds. But there’s one album I keep coming back to.
I can’t get enough of the self titled album by Young the Giant. My favorite track from this album (so far) is Every Little Thing, featured here.
Put their album on shuffle during your afternoon tasks and I promise you will feel more at ease than ever before.
(I’m actually listening to it as I write this!)
I am a Dunkin Donuts person, but I would not be able to make it through the season without a few Skinny Vanilla Lattes from Starbucks.
I’ve fallen back in love with lattes this fall, and this one is perfect for making me happy while also not costing me too many calories. Win-win!
If I had more time, I would definitely entertain my love for baking. Fall and winter are those times where I try to make at least one delicious treat with someone I love.
I recently made my favorite pumpkin cookies with my best friend, Carly.
We can’t get enough of pumpkin or anything with cream cheese frosting. You can bet they didn’t last long.
Find the recipe we used over here at The Recipe Critic!
Now, I absolutely love candles, but they are so expensive, and I can’t have flames in my room.
So, I go the next best, if not better, option.
There are so many things I love about wax melts. They are flameless, cheap, and come in every scent a candle does. Plus, they are easily recyclable/reusable, and so they are a sustainable option (very important to me).
If you choose to buy any of these things online, make sure you sign up for Ebates! It is an affiliate link, but I wouldn’t suggest it if it wasn’t so awesome.
It costs you nothing, and you make money back on anything you buy through them. (And they remind you, so you don’t even have to remember.)
If you like my blog, or even just enjoy saving money at all, (I know I do), sign up here before you start shopping!
I don’t have a lot of time to watch TV, so when I do, I stay pretty loyal to the ones I watch.
In the fall you can catch me watching Friends, New Girl, or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (again).
If you need another feel good show to watch, my friend Peyton over at Patience and Pajamas has a great post! Give her some love here!
Phew! That was long, but that’s because there’s few things I love more than fall!
I hope you had as much fun reading as I did writing!
